About Lili

This name is a pen name! I love reading, horsebackriding, acting, and dancing. I am not a fan of writing but I feel that if I don't tell abo

Today, I have a pen drawing of random branches. I guess it’s winter or something because there are no leaves. This was just something random that popped into my head in Spanish class. I drew it in the top corner of my notes, you know, the little box that’s created when the pink line and the blue line cross. I cut it out with Photoshop because  you probably don’t want a copy of my Spanish notes. So here is my latest doodle, I call it Les Arbres De Plume. It’s in French because I prefer French over Spanish any day.

EPSON MFP imageAny comments?, I know it’s blurry, but that’s because it got way bigger when I cut the picture down. So, yea I drew this with a normal ball point pen. If you have any suggestions for pen-drawing, I’d love to hear them in the comment box below!

Pencil Drawing of a Pencil

During my Spanish  midterm the other day, finished early (again) and was looking for something else to draw as realistically as possible, like the sprite bottle (see previous post). I scanned the room and saw nothing that would work just right so I pulled out a pencil, laid it on the desk and got to work. This is how it turned out:

Any comments? By the way, fixed my scanner, so all is well 🙂

See you at a point in the future that is yet to be determined!

Sprite Bottle

This last Christmas I got pretty little leather bound sketchbook- and nothing to draw in it. Then, recently during what teachers call midterms but what I call think for thirty minutes then sit , bored for the next hour and a half. Long name but it fits. This year though, i was sitting bored as usual but with one small difference- the new sketchbook. I sat thinking, what if I try my hand at realism? I’ve never been that good in that area but figured with an hour and a half to go i could try something new. I quickly scanned the room for my perfect subject, something with light and shadows that would be recognizable- no matter how bad it was. Then it hit me- my friend’s Sprite bottle. It wouldn’t move too much since she was still working and the light came through the green but less in the drink. Which by the way was not Sprite but cranberry ginger ale- confusing much? But it worked, I started slowly then sped up as I realized I like how this one was turning out!

It’s a little warped because my scanner is on the fritz- again so I had to take a picture, but I wanted to share it with ya’ll asap 🙂

If you like it: Let me know! Also open to suggestions in the comments box!!

Adobe Art

Now, many people diss photoshop and it’s many qualities saying it’s just a tool to make models and celebs look perfect. I have to retaliate with the skill of computer artists on the intranets. I do not in any way consider myself one of these people but I do claim a minor talent in the art.

Here is a little example of some of my photoshop work!

jk jk!!

Here is what I actually make:

wolfGranted, it isn’t the best, it was one of my first and there will hopefully be more on the way soon!

Like it? Let me know in the comments!!

Ballet Dancer

Kay so most of the pics you’ve seen so far were drawn in math class sorry to disappoint but this one was drawn in history (honors by the way 🙂 ) It started out as an eye, then a face, then a head, then a hea and ballet shoes, then a head and gray ballet shoes then this:
